These are southdowns. Those are blankets to keep them warm, or to keep their skin from getting all wrinkly. They are at a stock show and I showed this type of sheep for years in Highschool. My grandpa owns a far and raises them. It’s how he makes his living.
I miss it. I know it’s not what a lot of people would consider fun, or even something to do the rest of your life but I do miss it a lot. I won a 10,000 dollar scholarship from doing it.
Idk why this is even on tumblr… do people think it’s cute? or funny? I think it’s adorable and I can’t wait to go home and see all the little lambs on the farm soon (:
